UPDATES ... my second 12' phono tonearm
This time I have worked a little bit more on aesthetics. Same system and not more money spent , but I have found a retractable hollow metal stick covered with white plastic --- I don't remember the actual use of it...maybe for curtains --- which gave me the opportunity of a slide-in setting of the counter-weight, still coming from my tool box . The wheel is of an exquisite transparent and the base is in bamboo .
And as it's hollow , I could put the wires inside. I chose heavy wires for the inside wiring going to the cartridge and then connect them to light tork wires for the outside . It's not already made in this testing time picture.
There it is in its full glory
with custom made armrest and light tork wiring---well I had some problem cutting
the plastic edges of the armrest as you can see.
The whole wiring is to be
stuffed in the bamboo box to prevent it from ringing.
